A second rendering commissioned by the Chamber during the same period showed a similar vision--- this time seen from the southern end of the city. The Trinity River was contained by two industrial districts that had been built on 10,000 acres of re- claimed waste land, and had become the de-facto receptacle for the cityâs industrial wastes.
